The only things i did differently were, Semi skimmed milk instead of soured cream, i also added white chocolate to the top before putting on the icing, i put lemon zest in the icing and strawberrys on top too!!

CAKE POPS!!!!

DENERO SAVVY LAST MIN VALENTINES TREATS! CAKE POPS! TASTY AND BASTARD CUTE!

THEY ARE ALSO SEXUAL AND FIT AND HOT...AND YUMMY.....NOM NOM NOM...

HERE IS HOW TO....


For the Cake Pops you will need:

• 2 Madeira cakes - pre bought...(make it from scratch if you want...I really didn't want to! haha!)
• Unsalted butter 80g, cream cheese 40g, icing sugar 200g and 1 tsp vanilla extract - for the icing.
• Cooking chocolate, white and milk chocolate.

20 lollypop sticks (thats if you can find them...I couldn't so I bought chopsticks)

For decoration you will need

• sprinkles any kind (I used sparkly sugar sprinkles)
• vajazzle and nipple tassels.....joking.....not joking.......

For your listening pleasure you will need:

So, first take the Madeira cake and cut the crusts off.

Then crumble into small pieces.

 take your butter and cream cheese and cream together until smooth.

Slowly stir in your icing sugar and add the vanilla extract, mix,
when your icing is finished let it sit for 30 mins.

After 30 mins add the icing to the crumbled cake, stir until you get a fudge like consistency. 

Put the mixture in a food bad/cling film and put in the fridge for half an hour. 

 ....
while you wait you should have a cup of tea and eat the cake crusts, mmmm, cake crusts!

When half an hour is up, take the mix out of the fridge and start making balls of cake mix,

put the cake mix on to grease proof paper until you are ready to start decorating. 

Melt your chocolate!!

If you put your bowl of chocolate in a bowl of hot water it will stay liquid for longer.

Push the chopstick into the cake pop and then cover with chocolate.

While the chocolate is setting add sprinkles!

You can coat them twice, a layer of white chocolate and then milk chocolate looks really good!

FINISHED!

DECORATE AND ARRANGE HOWEVER YOU LIKE!

This was my 1st attempt at Cake Pops! I loved it! So much fun to make!

Fishbone braid fun!!

I have been at home sick all week, so finding ways to amuse myself has involved watching lots of make up and hair tutorials on youtube, the having a break to write some lyrics (not about makeup or hair) and then back to youtube for more tutorial shaped goodness!

Today i learned how to do a fishbone braid, its really easy and it looks awesome, to me it looks better if its a bit messier than this..I will keep trying it until i get it the way i want it, but not bad for a first attempt if i do say so myself!! :)

I picked up a few pieces of jewellery from street stalls while I was away.

I have decided that Matha Patti and Tika are the prettiest things I have ever seen!!

I need them in my life!
